Description: About Nemesis
Nemesis is a San Diego Music Award winner and three time nominee! Our objective is to entertain you. We do this by adding new material and constantly updating our songlist! Our musical styles cover hit songs in the genres of Rock, Classic Rock, Heavy Metal, Alternative Rock and on some occasions 70’s Funk/Soul and 60’s Motown. We have been busy with so many exciting and new changes, that we cannot wait to share them with you. Here is a portion of our new look and sound! Our recent additions include Bassist Mark Paris, and Lead Guitarist Michael Ruggirello.Mark is from Wisconsin. and has played or performed with such artists as Flyweil and Polyester Express. Michael is the former Lead Guitarist for San Diego’ own Huge Rooster. Mike is also a member of The Powerhitters, a San Diego based Semi-Progressive/Jazz-Fusion Band. Ruggi is also a fellow San Diegan. Another San Diego native is Lead Vocalist Mike Pfahler. Mike also plays Rhythm and Lead Guitar. Mike has played the club scene in San Diego and lead his own group Ballistic for ten years. Brothers Dino and Peter DeLuke Jr.(Drums and Keyboards)round out the band! The DeLuke brothers are originally from New York City and are the sons of Jazz legend Peter DeLuke. Their Father played Saxophone and Clarinet with such musical icons as Stan Getz, Sammy Kaye, Neil Hefti, Benny Goodman, Tony Bennett,Frank Sinatra,Gene Krupa and Mel Lewis. We want to hear from you! We are currently sending out friends requests. It is always great to get feedback from our friends and audience members!! Lastly, come up to the stage on our breaks and say hello! We know many of you by face, but would actually love to meet you in person. Your support is important to us. Thank You!
